General Dentistry

This includes routine dental examinations or check-ups, oral health advice, fillings, and x-rays.

Orthodontics

Dr. Michael French, a board certified orthodontist, will create custom treatment plans that are tailored to your specific goals and needs. Your customized treatment plan will take into consideration all aspects of your smile’s look, the function of your bite and what your goal is.

Invisalign

Invisalign treatment is an alternative to metal braces for kids, teens, and adults.  Invisalign treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth.  The aligners are custom-made to your teeth. It’s a minimally invasive treatment that can make teeth look good, feel better, and improve oral health.  Contact our office for a consultation to see if you are a candidate.

Root Canals

This service includes removing inflamed or infected pulp on the inside of the tooth which is then carefully cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed. Root canal treatment is designed to eliminate bacteria from the infected root canal, prevent reinfection of the tooth and save the natural tooth.

Pediatrics

Pediatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry dealing with children from birth through adolescence.  We work hard at Castle Crossing Dental to make their dental experience enjoyable as possible for your child.

Extractions

We prefer to save natural teeth whenever possible. But sometimes, other restorative methods aren’t enough. If your tooth has been badly damaged past the point of repair, then removal may be necessary.

Implants

Dental implants replace tooth roots with titanium, screw-like posts and replaces damaged or missing teeth with artificial teeth that look and function much like real ones. The major benefit of implants is solid support for your new teeth without affecting adjacent teeth.

Crown and Bridges

A crown, or a "cap", fits over existing teeth. Crowns are used to treat teeth with deep decay, tooth fractures, or placed over teeth that have been root canaled. A dental bridge is made up of 3 or more connected dental crowns. It is often used to span a gap in the mouth with 1 or more missing teeth. Both are fixed in the mouth and not removable like dentures.

Dental Hygiene Therapy

Dental Hygiene Therapy  removes plaque and calculus that can lead to tooth decay and gum disease. It  also includes a comprehensive exam of the supporting tissues of your teeth, looking at gum recession, bone levels, and the state of disease or health of your gums. The Dental Hygienist will work with you along side the dentist in promoting and maintaining your oral health.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide is a gas, and is commonly known as  laughing gas. Giving nitrous oxide is a way to help reduce  pain and anxiety during dental treatment. The gas is given through a small nosepiece, and you  will be awake throughout the procedure. The effects of the gas generally wear off after 5-10 minutes.  Both children and adults can benefit from the relaxing effects of nitrous oxide.

Oral Sedation

Oral sedation is a form of conscious sedation used to help the patient relax during dental treatment. The most commonly used sedative is Triazolam (Halcion). Although usually prescribed as a sleeping pill, triazolam is a medication that can greatly minimize anxiety that may be associated with going to the dentist. In a relaxed state, the patient will still be able to communicate with the dentist while treatment is being performed. Nitrous oxide may used in conjunction with triazolam to put the patient in an even more relaxed state.
